With so many pit bulls being put to death daily in this country for being “vicious” and “aggressive” we are so thankful that someone was kind enough not only to adopt Charlie, but also gave a home to his blind brother, Nemo, so they didn’t have to be separated 🙂
I found this picture, and out of curiosity I did some research. Apparently, firefighters work very hard, pretty frequently, to save our feline friends 🙂
When it comes to pound/shelter life, black dogs are inexplicably the last to get adopted, and the first to get euthanized.
As much as going to the pound to search for your next companion has become less popular than staying home and searching online, however you search, make sure you give EVERY dog equal consideration.
If you are looking for a secondary pet, and you do not have a black pal, consider saving one.
Reshare if you care.
